Summary:

Nationwide Card Services, Inc. is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Web Design Specialist. They will be responsible for creating and implementing impressive, attention grabbing and incredibly effective designs for websites and/or creative.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update websites including all graphics, design, functionality, and related written content.
• Create graphics, layout, designs, and prototypes to increase the value of the online user experience.
• Contribute to the marketing layout, design, and implementation responsibilities in support of overall marketing activities.
• Coordinate with development team to advance corporate website functionality.
• Relentlessly research current market and environment to find and implement creative conceptual designs for all web presences.
• Design and develop creative and/or websites as requested from our clients.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

Three years verifiable work experience in the following programming languages, tools and/or methods:

• Expert level knowledge in CSS/XHTML Web site development, Flash, PhotoShop and Illustrator.
• Proficient on GoLive or Dreamweaver, Flash, other necessary software to website development and online animation.
• Experience with ASP.net, PHP, XML, SQL, MYSQL, JavaScript is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and technical training.
• Potential candidates must have 2 years' experience in web- standards based CSS/XHTML Web site development.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Enjoys working within schedule and process constraints.
• Committed to doing whatever it takes to enhance success of NCS.
• Takes pride in output of a quality product.
• Must be prepared to show a strong portfolio of work.
